Help for !Portrait
==================

Drag a picture Sprite onto the !Portrait icon on the iconbar.

 ICONBAR MENU:

Over-Paint - i.e display the picture and then 'paint' on top of it.

Hide and See - i.e hide the picture and 'paint' to gradually reveal it.

 DRAWING MODE:

<Select> = Paint, using the current brush.
The speed with which the mouse is moved will dictate the
`coarseness' of the brush - a slow movement will give a
fine spray, while a faster movement will generate a bigger
             and coarser brush shape.

<Menu> = Paint a small spray of the original i.e full accuracy.

<Adjust> = toggle (forward) through a sequence of different brushes :-

                        1. Scratches
                        2. Circles
                        3. Rectangles
                        4. Triangles
                        5. Blur/Smooth

The brush choice is displayed in the upper left corner of the screen.
It will disappear automatically (as will the surround bounding box)
    as soon as painting starts/resumes.

<Adjust> + <Shift> steps backwards through the sequence of brushes.

 KEYS:

<F> = step through the three picture size options :-
            1) Original-size,
            2) Max-size (full but keeps original perspective),
            3) Full-screen size (ignores perspective).

<B> = switch the display of the current Brush choice ON/OFF.

'>' = increase the size of the brush.

'<' = decrease the size of the brush.

<Tab> = toggle current view with the full original picture.

<Delete> = restart with a blank (black) screen -same as `Hide and See'.

<R> = restart with the original picture - same as `Over-Paint'.

 <F3> = Save the pictures - as Pic1,Pic2,Pic3 ... - inside the
        subdirectory "Pics" contained within !Portrait.
These should be copied elsewhere BEFORE quitting the program
since the subdirectory "Pics" is emptied on quitting.

Note: click <Select> on the iconbar icon to open the subdirectory
"Pics", and click <Adjust> on the iconbar to close it again.
<Shift>+<Adjust> will delete ALL the files in "Pics".

 ERASER MODE:

 Press <Space> to enter Eraser/rub-out mode :

 - a small circular outline appears. Moving the mouse moves the circle.

Use <Select> to `paint' with the eraser (i.e paint in 'black').

Click <Menu> to increase the radius, and <Adjust> to decrease radius
OR use the keys ">" or "<" respectively.

Hold <H> for horizontal motion only.

Hold <V> for vertical motion only.

To EXIT Eraser Mode and return to Drawing Mode press <Space> again.
